17. Unfold two valley-folds of the step #14.   Now, the origami orchid model is at the same state of the step #13 with two crease lines.   Prepare to apply a horizontal valley-fold.

18. Apply the horizontal valley-fold of the step #17.   Prepare to apply the crease pattern (CP) shown on the left.
